This is a personal photography portfolio at siebe.dev. It has no accounts, no forms, and no advertising. This page explains the small amount of data that is processed when you visit.

Who is responsible

Siebe Uyttersprot, an individual established in Belgium, contactable at uyttersprot.siebe@gmail.com. As this site is run by a private individual and not in the course of a business, it has not appointed a Data Protection Officer; write to the address above with any question or request.

What is collected

• Privacy-friendly analytics. This site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. They record aggregate, anonymised page views and performance metrics. They do not use cookies, do not build a cross-site profile, and are designed to avoid storing personal data or persistent identifiers.
• Technical request data. Like any website, the hosting provider (Vercel) processes standard server logs — such as IP address, browser type and the page requested — to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
• Fonts. Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers and Google may process your IP address to serve them.

Vercel acts as a data processor for this site; its handling is described in the Vercel Privacy Notice. Google Fonts is governed by Google's privacy policy.

What is not collected

• No cookies are set by this site.
• No account, email address or other personal details are requested or stored.
• No data is sold or shared for advertising.

Why it is processed

To understand which photographs are being viewed, to keep the site fast and reliable, and to protect it from abuse. This is a legitimate interest in running and securing the site.

How long it is kept

This site keeps nothing itself — it has no database and stores no visitor records. The processors named above retain data as follows:

• Vercel Web Analytics identifies a visitor only by a hash of the incoming request, which is discarded after 24 hours. After that, only aggregated, anonymous statistics (for example, total page views per day) remain, and those cannot be tied to any person, device or IP address.
• Vercel Speed Insights likewise records only aggregated performance metrics.
• Hosting and server logs held by Vercel for delivery and abuse protection are retained under Vercel's own retention policy (see the Vercel Privacy Notice).
• Google Fonts requests are handled by Google under Google's privacy policy; this site stores nothing from them.

Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to request access to, correction or deletion of any personal data concerning you, to object to its processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. Because this site deliberately avoids collecting identifying data, there may be nothing to retrieve — but you can always write to the address above.

Changes

If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above will change with it.
