Hi, I'm Siebe Uyttersprot ๐
I'm an IoT & Embedded Engineer working right where code meets hardware โ making real energy devices talk, and turning their data into systems that actually steer power in the field. After graduating in 2023 I spent two years at Eniris building the bridge between physical energy hardware and the energy management systems that optimize it, and I'm currently on a career break โ travelling while staying hands-on with my own IoT and home-automation projects.
Day to day I write communication drivers for inverters, batteries, EV chargers and meters over Modbus TCP/RTU and RS232/RS485 serial, and build connected nodes on ESP32, Raspberry Pi and Arduino that stream telemetry over MQTT. I'm hands-on with basic electronics โ breadboarding, soldering, reading datasheets โ and with home automation, integrating home batteries, EV chargers, inverters and solar into Home Assistant and beyond.
That hardware work sits on a full software stack: firmware on the devices, backend Python and .NET for the drivers and services, and React / Next.js for the dashboards on top. I take it through the whole lifecycle โ CI/CD with Jenkins and Docker, cloud infrastructure on AWS, and time-series data systems โ so a device in the field reliably becomes a number on a screen and an action on the grid.
Prior to Eniris, my experience as a student developer at Tarpit BVBA provided a strong foundation in web application development and bespoke client solutions. Fluent in Dutch and highly proficient in English, I'm eager to apply my skills to your next challenge.
