01. DECAY IS TRUTH
Every system fails eventually. I'd rather show the failing than hide it. I keep the artifact, the grain, the noise — the raw data point before anyone sands it smooth for public consumption. A photograph is not a window into reality; it is a mechanical reproduction of light, and I let it look like one.
02. ANTI-USABILITY
Comfort breeds complacency. An interface that feels effortless is usually one that stopped asking anything of you. This site keeps its wiring exposed — hard borders, a running log, redacted fields — because a frictionless surface makes it easy to stop noticing what a system is actually doing.
03. THE SUBJECT OUTRANKS THE SYSTEM
These photographs weren't taken to make a point about technology. They were taken outside it — trail posts, cornfields, horses, one piece of trash on the shoulder of a road. Staying off-grid isn't the subject of the work; it's just how I'd rather work, instead of behind a template that flattens everything into "content."

This isn't a portfolio built to be optimized. Nothing here is A/B tested. What you see is what a camera actually recorded, presented without an algorithm smoothing it into something easier to swallow. Look closely at the border. That's the whole idea.
